Plan for Water continues April 19 with a watershed workshop
Join us for an April 19 teleconferenced workshop to help plan our community's water future. Scheduled is a discussion of watersheds and watershed management, including a cultural awareness and sensitivity overview.
In addition to an NID presentation, the workshop will include a presentation from Tribal Members from the Lizzie Enos Nisenan Family Foundation and the United Auburn Indian Community (UAIC) Preservation Department.
The goal is to develop common understanding and knowledge of NID source supply watersheds, management requirements, federal/state/local coordination and partnerships, and cultural awareness.
Your participation will help determine the best ways to meet the community’s demand for water over the next 50 years. We look forward to hearing from you
