Plan for Water continues January 10 with a workshop focused on hydrology and demand
Join us for a Jan. 10 workshop to help plan our community's water future. The scheduled topics are Hydrology and Demand. The workshop will start at 4 p.m. at NID's main office and also via Zoom.
STAGE 7 HYDROLOGY AND HYDROGRAPHY
This stage will seek to determine design assumptions, principles and standards of data-driven modeling as it relates to the hydrology and hydrography of NID’s water systems while reconfirming previous efforts of FERC re-licensing models and determining appropriate climate and drought scenario analysis.
STAGE 8 DEMAND
This stage will seek to determine the District's future demand scenarios as they pertain to land use designations, growth projections, water use trends and environmental & regulatory demands.
NID looks forward to hearing from the public and working together to develop strategic options that reflect a balanced mix of community perspectives to guide the District’s water management into the future.
